All your faces

2023, France, 118 min – Drama, Restorative Justice
In French with English Subtitles

Synopsis

Since 2014, in France, Restorative Justice has been offering victims and offenders the opportunity to engage in dialogues within secure environments, guided by professionals and volunteers such as Judith, Fanny, and Michel.
Nassim, Issa, and Thomas, who have been convicted of violent thefts, along with Grégoire, Nawelle, and Sabine, who have been victims of home invasions, armed robberies, and snatch-and-grab thefts, as well as Chloé, a victim of incestuous rape, all choose to participate in Restorative Justice programs.
Along their journeys, they experience anger and hope, moments of silence and spoken words, the formation of alliances and the pain of ruptures, moments of self-awareness, and the recovery of trust. And at the end of the road, sometimes, there is the possibility of healing.

This hope-filled film, an ode to resilience, is a great success – 20 Minutes, Caroline Vié
A gem. – BIBA, Samuel Loutaty
Restorative justice is the foundation of this magnificent ensemble film, which speaks of repair and connection between victims and offenders. Jeanne Herry’s third film is propelled by an astounding cast. – Bande à part, Isabelle Danel
Brilliant from start to finish, without a drop in energy, false notes, or unnecessary digressions, and orchestrated through monologues delivered with naturalness, spontaneity, and a fervor that would give even the most seasoned psychoanalysts chills, “Je verrai toujours vos visages” is elevated by an exceptional cast that demonstrates absolute generosity and confidence in its subject and director. –  CNews, The Editorial Team
Highlighting restorative justice, a little-known program, Jeanne Herry’s new film, “Je verrai toujours vos visages,” is a significant, almost documentary-like human film, propelled by an impressive cast. – Dernières Nouvelles d’Alsace, Thibault Liessi
While serving as an educator, Jeanne Herry combines art and humanism, civility and sensitivity in the service of societal evolution. Magnificent. – Franceinfo Culture, Jacky Bornet
Jeanne Herry firmly and straightforwardly tackles the relatively unexplored theme of restorative justice. She orchestrates a fascinating dialogue between victims and delinquents. – Le Figaro, Eric Neuhoff
If the film strikes a chord in its range of confrontations, it’s thanks to impeccable writing, actors fully committed to their roles, and a perfect balance between fiction and documentary rigor. – Marie Claire, Emily Barnett
“All your faces” is already one of the great French films of the year. It’s a cinematic and impeccably written closed-room drama, infused with the spirit of “Twelve Angry Men.” – Paris Match, Fabrice Leclerc
A sober and solid film, led by a remarkable ensemble of actors. – Le Journal du Dimanche
Following “In Safe Hands,” Jeanne Herry once again manages to move with the powerful “All your faces.” – Les Fiches du Cinéma – Antoine Corte
